Brassic-
A British dramedy. Follows a group of lowlifes doing lowlife things. Entertaining and good production values.
The Lowdown-
Still maintaining this is the best show running right now. A neo noir detective type show. Made by the same guy who did reservation dogs. Seriously watch this one.
The Chair Company-
Looking good so far. A conspiracy comedy type thing with surrealist vibes. Excited to see where this one goes
Great recommendations. I'll definitely check out The Lowdown and The Chair Company.
How "bratty" is "Brassic"? It has an incredible score almost 8 out of 10 on IMDb atm. but it does look a bit juvenile, so I wonder if it's worth my time or not.
Idk what you mean by bratty. It's definitely for grownups. I think it's very well done. I honestly can't believe I've never heard of it before. I'd recommend it to someone I liked. Give it a couple episodes, see how you feel about it.
I should've used another word than bratty, just thought "brassic" was a portmanteau of brat or bratty and classic. Immature or chavvy might've been better.
But I'll give it a go then.
I've just put on episode two of The Lowdown, brilliant stuff. And really well casted. Sad that Johnny Pemberton was only in episode 1 though.
I love the lowdown. Every episode is him delving into someone else's self contained (almost), world. And you're in for a treat, every episode has top notch guest spots.
