This makes me think about movies and shows set in some medieval time and the maine character knows he has to convince some demented king to do something that obviously makes sense.
I like to imagine at some point someone stabs a knife or sword into the map for dramatic effect.
And the cartographer who spent like a month making that map sheds a tear.
