The problem is that the vast majority of people who are in a position to invest aren't communists. A large part of the reason why the collapse is happening is because people who are well off are relatively insulated from the problems vast majority of the population is experiencing.

Fully agree. That I would address through opening neighborhood meets in low income areas and provide help for things that usually cost money such as using a smartphone or computer, food sharing, donation drives of old clothes and so on. I'm currently running such a place. Its visited well imo. That way people get help and I can write about this issue and make it public.

Yeah, I think community swaps and mutual aid is a really good thing to focus on.
