Good.

It'll turn cops against ICE be cause of their "always defend cops" bias. And it'll cause a crack in their supporters as people pick cops or ICE like a football game.

It’ll turn cops against ICE

Maybe. Depends on whether the Thin Blue Line is stronger than Trump Love

We are talking about Illinois here.

The gas station scene with Twiggy was shot in Warrenville on Rt 59, a bit south of 38, west side of the road. I believe it is still just barely identifiable by the dip in the curb for the driveways.

~~CBP~~ CPD has historically been a warehouse for chuds.

Parent commenter was musing on the effects of ICE arresting a municipal police officer in Illinois, wondering if that action would set police (not CBP) against ICE. I believe that is more likely in Illinois, especially in the Chicago metro area, because cops are likely to stand together in Illinois especially, and Hoffman Estates is also quite liberal.

I'm not sure where CBP came into this.

police (not CBP)

A very clumsy typo. I mean Chicago Police Department (CPD). But I did it on a cell phone and didn't check my work.

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 1 points 5 months ago

Fair enough.

While this isn't Chicago, I agree with that, and my point still stands. It would stand even more proudly if it were Chicago; CPD would most definitely circle the wagons.

I'm not saying this makes CPD (or any cops) friends, but it would make them the enemy of my enemy. I'll take it.

It's not, all law enforcement hate other law enforcement. Lookup police fight sheriff and you'll probably be astounded to see how often it not only happens but happens on video.

I got out of a ticket for illegal mods in New Jersey 20 years ago. Local cops pulled me over on a state route, I stopped on an offramp shoulder. State trooper shows up and says fuck no. He followed me to the parking spot and said have a good night.

Trump Derangement Syndrome, you mean. The real kind.

Ain't no love involved; only shared hate.

And it'll cause a crack in their supporters as people pick cops or ICE like a football game.

I'm rooting for the football itself.

If cops and ICE fight each other, I'll cheer for the batons.
