And I gave an example of a corrupt pick. Obama.
So I never said the US forced them to pick anyone only that they are not above influence.

No you offered up a strawman with Obama as he was not picked by the USA nor have you provided evidence that Obama’s selection was influenced by the USA. You argued against his selection to “win” which is what a strawman argument is.
You offered no proof of influence or corruption only a straw-man claim.
