No but seriously. Can't chew on my left side because I can't even afford a fucking cleaning because dental insurance in Canada is a fucking joke. Yes even with that stupid Federal plan that barely covers shit.

I'm baffled you guys need to have a dental plan for basic stuff. I pay my dentist out of pocket, about € 20 for check and plaque removal, I think about the same amount for a filling. Crowns are more expensive (think 500-1500), but rarely needed so you'd also be better of just paying for it. Or depending on the urgency you could get a supplementary plan (expands on the mandatory basic health insurance plan) for the next year.

I pay nothing, obamacare for me pays everything so no charge at any point. This has included a lot of root canals.

It does have to approve things. And they have denied me things. Nothing big though. They refuse to pay for teeth deep cleanings though.

I payed $130 last week for the same service. With insurance.

Probably need to switch to cheaper dentist.
