Wow, they really want this movie to be a success, huh? I mean, I do hope it succeeds, but dang.
I watched it a few days ago (it's been out for a week already where I am).
It's good, but I've got a hunch that people who like the first half won't like the second half, and vice versa. It's a slightly odd film, pacing-wise, but maybe in a good way? It definitely hasn't let the franchise down.
Does it feel like an actual movie, or like a bunch of episodes strewn together?
It’s one story. It’s not episodic, but there is a major gear change halfway through.
(I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that, for reasons that will be clear once you see it)
