astrology is bullshit and awful
but the existence of astrology is very good, in that it provides valuable information about people. if someone asks me about my sign or otherwise indicates they're into astrology, they've essentially written "i'm a dumbass" on their forehead, so i know i can safely ignore their opinions
Eh, I know a bunch of intelligent and worldly people, mostly women, who're into astrology because it's fun and usually harmless and gives them some funky avenue to interpret their world with. I don't believe in it personally but I also don't really care about people who do, and I don't think it reflects too badly on people as long as they don't take it too too seriously.
