A lot of people think she's too far left, and the media likes to publish things she said out of context, but she absolutely crushed her opponents in one of the debates recently so she's ahead in the polls.
Jim Gavin is a corporate puppet, he didn't give a single substantial answer to any questions.
Heather Humphreys may win, she's less controversial, but she has a lot of baggage (refused to learn Irish when she was minister for the gaeltact, was a member of the orange order).
Its too late for any other candidates to make the ballot, but maria steen was close. She luckily didn't get enough nominations.
The president does fuck all in Ireland anyway.
