This is the central database of protien, DNA sequences and structures. It ~~is~~ was accessed by all biomedical researchers worldwide daily.

Isn’t that message more about the shutdown? Rfk sucks for sure but the shutdown is not really his thing. Destruction of standards is his thing

Yes, you're correct. I just checked the TSA site as I'm about to take a flight tonight, and there's a similar banner at the top of their page, too.

Are TSA personnel considered essential?

If... not... does that mean that air travel in and out of the US just... stops?

That can't be right, can it?

ok, they are generally essential employees, so they just get forced to work with no pay.
