This is also how I feel about advertising, especially any that have an audio component. Firefox and uBlock Origin are a lifesaver.
I don't have a great memory in general, but I spend a great deal of mental effort on remembering which gas stations around me have autoplaying ads with sound. Dunno why that's my line in the sand but I cannot tolerate just standing there having car insurance blasted into my ears.
