Let me know if this doesn't count as gardening, but went to a community orchard at a local park for apple picking, all free just paid for parking, almost 8kg apples worth. (lemmy.world)

Thank you! There were some berry bushes (trees?) also but we probably missed their peak fruiting season as there was none to harvest, happy with the apples we've got ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Would probably turn them into apple jam or apple crumble (apple crisp in US).
