For the past few years any time there’s a public shooting, political or not, fascists immediately begin pushing a narrative that the shooter had some connection to the trans community, anarchist or communist politics, to migrant or Black communities. These are always tenuous claims but now with multiple racist lynchings following Kirk’s death, it’s time to recognize the danger of these kinds of mythmakings. They are calls to violence.

i cant yet find the word for it but it smells like a sort of well poisoning for headlines and search engine “optimization” - if a TON of agitprop gets out there, future searches/“research”/etc will “show” different and tailored results.
