Siemens made knockoff Nokia phones? I trust Siemens a lot, they're a quality manufacturer, but I don't think I ever saw anyone use a Siemens back in the pre-smart phone days.

They were very common here, my first ever phone was a Siemens C25, and some years later Siemens A50 was so cheap, a lot of my friends had that. But I guess these couldn't help the mobile branch of Siemens, it was sold to Benq in 2005. It existed from 1985 to 2005 only.
