What is going on with the Charlie Kirk shooting? First they had a person in custody then they let him go. And did it to another person. Now they are saying he was killed by a sniper? (lemmy.world)

Re point 3 - the version I read went like this:

  • Robinson's dad saw the pics and thought he recognised his son
  • He asked the son about it and eventually he confessed to the dad
  • The dad then told a family friend
  • The family friend told the police, possibly at the Dad's request
