My wife is a teacher, working under an expired union contract. The school board has been adamant that they will not negotiate a new contract or even recognize the union. Is this legal? I have no idea, but I doubt it. In any case, the teachers are about to strike, initially planning a one day walkout.
My oldest daughter is a student in the district and is trying to design a button or sticker she can hand out to other students and encourage them to come to the picket line. She wants some feedback.
