I'd also like to propose an alternative, and that's installing Piefed as a PWA by creating a shortcut to your phone's homescreen or installing as an app on desktop, at which point it will run like an app.

It works quiet well and has become my primary way of using it. People tend to sleep on PWAs, but they're great. :D

That's what I do too. It has all the latest PieFed-specific features and consumes basically no space on my phone.

This is my primary way of using piefed. There are a number of improvements for mobile-sized screens coming in the 1.2 update.

I do that too with the exception when I want to add images to a comment, then I have to use Voyager. Because PieFed doesn’t support image upload in comments yet. I believe it will be added in the upcoming version.
