Uh... no? It's because of all the fascism and wrecking the economy. There's a lot more that's objectionable about Trump than change. If the underlying issues of American society are not addressed, there will be no second term because the right will be able to say "see? Liberals don't care about you as long as they're in power."
Change is a pretty broad category. Here's what I've seen from conservative neighbors, conservative posts online, etc:
Go ask a center right person that voted for Trump and they'll say they regret their vote. One of my friends voted for Trump in 2016 and I think 2020, but not 2024. Ask that same person if they think Trump is fascist and they'll probably say no.
The rhetoric here online doesn't match peoples' opinions IRL.
If they're not incompetent and actually do a decent job, they'll win reelection. Biden did okay for a year or so, and then not so much, yet the DNC tried to cover it up and Harris promised more of the same. That's not going to cut it, they need another Obama or Bill Clinton.
I'm rooting for the DNC to figure things out because the GOP obviously isn't.
