I have an unhealthy level of hate for Prius. I think because since their initial intro, the drivers all were pompous jackasses. Then, you'd witness them driving way over the speed limit. Completely defeating the purpose of their hybrid fuel mileage.

Fuck 'em.

I've always experienced the opposite, they jump into the fast lane and go like 5 under the speed limit, I notice less Prius doing that now and more teslas though

Geez, as someone who has owned almost nothing but Priuses, "all" is a pretty glaringly wrong claim. I typically despise going past the speed limit (especially on freeways), much to the rage of other drivers. If it matters, this has always been my driving style since before getting into them.

That's funny! Everywhere I've lived in America, culturally speaking, going above the limit is the limit.

The *norm, you mean? And yes, I know... I'm saying some of us Prius owners (the proper ones who care about economy) are defying that, much to the annoyance of the impatient.

Do you know how fast a Prius would have to be driving to get mileage levels close to a non-hybrid?
