I met a trans lesbian socialist who does a lot of pro-Palestine organizing recently.

She also really likes Rick and Morty.

An uncomfortably large number of the show's fans unironically like and identify with Rick's selfish pseudo-philosophical nihilism

Note: "An uncomfortably large number" does not mean "all" or even "most"

It's similar to The Sopranos in that regard. It doesn't make the shows bad though.
