According to this video (6:34), Zotac Zone Pro should have eGPU support confirmed by Manjaro lead Philip Müller https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kfkRPXOLU4

I wonder why Manjaro. Seems like a strange pick to me.

One of reasons could be because manjaro is also porting their Zotac launcher, which is going to support GOG, Epic games and Steam out of the box rather than having just Steam and it's going to stand out from Steam Deck and other windows handhelds.

If I had to guess because SteamOS is based on Arch and Manjaro being easy to use and based on it as well saves R&D.
