It's almost like conservatives control the vast majority of media conglomerates and subsequently control the types of content that their outlets put out.

I heartily chortle anytime someone tells me that.
This is what frustrates me about all the Ground News ad reads I see on youtube channels that I otherwise respect (Legal Eagle, and Some More News for example). Despite the claims about 'left' or 'right' media, they're still all corporate owned media, and will only serve corporate interests.
Impossible! I saw a Democrat on CNN once, they're taking over!
I think it's more complex than that. I think it's accurate that the majority of mainstream reporting writers are actually liberal (or left, but definitions get pretty sticky).
This left bias coincides with a bias towards reality. The problem is that they are trained to remove bias from their reporting, and in removing their left bias when reporting on the left, their also remove their reality bias.
My brother/sister in Christ. Read the NYT every day for a week and then tell me with a straight face they’ve removed bias from their reporting. I mean, really…
It's not about reality or not reality. No matter what you think about each individual Network they're all corporate owned. That's their bias. They don't report reality if it goes against the corporate interests either.
The people in control of the media switch side back and forth as it suit them and they never lose because red and blue are the same shit.
No, it’s almost like “the left” in the US (such as it is) is tacitly allowing it at best and complicit at worst.
