Not really. Yes, the Chinese are biased/leaning towards Russia, but they are still officially neutral. I heavily doubt the Chinese would be totally in bed with Russia in this scenario. And I think it'll be a worthwhile compromise if that's what it takes to stop the killing.

Although ideally I think NATO should just run into Ukraine and mow the orcs down.

I really do think Putin is waiting for that as an excuse to launch nukes. At the end of it all, i think he really just wants to go down in the books one way or another
