no booster? what unfilled niche could a new assault rifle or a new pump shotty possibly fill? is 'stealth' something people are asking for? in 315 hours I've never once heard anyone say "hey let's sneak past this group of enemies," it's 100% of the time "blow shit up idgaf if I die." 1500? i'll pass.
edit: and you know what? it's no wonder nobody uses stealth because the game is not set up for it. Sneak around the map all you want sooner or later you're gonna hafta attempt an objective and now your suppressor is a liability because they balanced the weapon as if the silencer was a bonus and there's bots dropping in all around you already filled in about your location.
edit2: on further consideration, maybe I was too harsh. Just because I outgrew halo after highschool doesn't mean everyone else did or should. I really don't think FOMO and nostalgia justify a 150% pricetag, and I think it says something anxiety-inducing about the trend of monetization in video games, but that's just not my decision to make: i'm voting with my wallet and it sounds like for better or worse I'm being way outvoted. Also, as for the "niche" thing, I guess there could be an argument made for there being some room for redundancy in the kits when you consider that most people probably aren't buying every warbond; many might not ever notice a bit of overlap in weapon roles. I don't think that argument would bear a like, 'structural' load if it were picked up by the developer but it's enough to give me pause for consideration. Ultimately if other helldivers are having fun, I guess that's the best thing. It's not like I'm losing out.
I stand behind BussyGyatt with this one
The only thing I disagree with is that the armors' noise reduction is completely useless: it doesn't happen very often, but if you're alone and trying to solo an outpost/hive/lz the noise reduction would help you get past patrols.
I don't know if 30% is a noticeable difference, and you don't *need* stealth to do all that, but it would help; off the top of my head there's only one armor that completely solves a problem rather than simply mitigating it, and barely anyone ever uses it until the incineration corps pop up.
