Try setting reminders for yourself if you're prone to do that and look up exercises to massage your jaw joints and muscles around them. Constantly clenching your jaw may lead to headaches, neck pain, and problems with posture - not even touching upon grinding down your teeth if you do that at night like I did for many years - so it's really not to be fooled around with.
If you grind your teeth at night, get a night guard!
I had one a couple years ago but I chewed through it and didn't get around to getting a new one. Not sure if I'm still grinding my teeth at night
