Some people just want more suffering in the world.
This reminds me of my boss explaining to me his idea, where if you cause a wreck on the highway, you get prison time and a fine for all of the lost opportunity cost for everybody affected by the wreck, including businesses, whose employees are late.
It’s not enough for a medical bill to bankrupt you for life, let’s have a car accident on the highway bankrupt you for life as well.
that's one of those nonsensical ideas that only the dumbest fucking rich pigs would ever have, and they would realize (but not admit) it's dumb if you said "what if that happened to you? anyone can get a flat tire and cause a massive pile up". they lack empathy and never even considered it could easily be them on the receiving end of their weird fantasy
