He is forced to manage fuel. Either they put too little fuel in (to counterbalance some other problem?) or the car is "eating" too much fuel.
Ah, underfueling without consulting him would do it. Sounds like that's what happened.
EDIT: "chassis issue" apparently?
Yeah and Russel mentioned something about tire pressure/chassis height
So it was a car chassis issue apparently
