If I break FAA regulations on an AM broadcast they'll knock on my door in a few hours.

If I start spreading Nazi propaganda they'll trace the paper back to the source.

If I empty Grandma's bank account into Bitcoin. It's fucking gone and nobody is going to find me.

That's the difference the older generation doesn't seem to understand.

But if a billionaire meddles with their social media platform's algorithm is such a way, that it boosts whatever will help them get more tax breaks, we should just lay back and enjoy it. Free speech baby!

The FAA regulates aircraft amd aviation. The FCC regulates radio.
