Apollo founder Christian Selig said he's "heartbroken" about pulling the plug on the third-party app following Reddit's API pricing changes.

There is no Reddit without Apollo for me. I can't stand the changes Reddit has made over the years, so I'm fine to leave.

Same. Ill be honest I tried to use reddit on my laptop and even old.reddit is just not as good as apollo was. I hope the fediverse can get app support like that in the future

Same here. Once Apollo stopped I stopped going. During the last month I was bookmarking the sites I was reading stories from that was being posted on Reddit. So now I go straight to the source.
