If anything, Gore winning would have 100% prevented any chance of a President Obama happening.

President Obama not happening means him not roasting Trump at the 2011 correspondents dinner and Trump not deciding to run for president out of sheer humiliation, narcissism, spite, and stupidity, though.

Without that he'd been happy staying with his bankrupt casinos and TV gigs.

Between that and Gore actually doing something against climate change it'd probably have been a net positive.

He's always had an interest, and had run before. And Putin would still want him as a puppet.

It's more likely than not that he would have run anyway. Maybe not. He is too fucking old.
