By now, people hopefully understand the difference between trying and failing (PT) and not caring at all (ST). George wasn't perfect, but he cared about his world and even at their worst the prequels only fail in execution.

And they transparently fail where they do - you can see through that right to the attempted goal and understand that it was virtuous.

Anyway, prequels specifically have prepared me for life. They might have felt stupid, but they are not. And their surrounding part of the EU.
