If <400 million Americans each got 20 meters x 20 meters of land for housing, that would be:

160 billion square meters of land,

or 16 million hectares (≈ 39.52 million acres),

or 160 000 sq km (<62 000 sq miles)

or less than 80% the size of Utah.
