Finland is building the world's first long-term disposal facility for spent nuclear fuel. The facility will be operational by 2026, and decommissioned by 2100. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onkalo_spent_nuclear_fuel_repository

They've been digging since 2004... how is nuclear energy profitable at all when accounting for the disposal lol.
