That's what drives me up the wall the most! They're so lost in words, they forgo reality entirely.
Me too, it's so infuriating. Like, you only have to SAY you're Christian for these people to think you're 'a very good person'. Once that label is connected to you you can do whatever the fuck you want and nothing changes in their eyes.
A lesson I learned a long time ago is "never trust a person with a 'Jesus fish' on their business card. "
I say that as a regular church attender. People who feel the need advertise their religion as a means to make money are almost never sincere about their "beliefs."
