Anxiety serves a purpose if there's a danger. If it's prolonged and the danger is some thought inside your head no it doesn't.

Learn how to manage your hardware better. Get some therapy.

Been fighting anxiety since 1996 with therapy and drugs. So far, she won.

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
