This isn't just because people just see it on social media. It is because Murdock has a monopoly on the press. What isn't propaganda is clickbait nonsense and a good chunk of the public have noticed, even if that isn't specifically the words they would use.

I'm not Australian, but I think you still have some really good Australian news organizations:

  • The Sydney Morning Herald

  • The Guardian

  • ABC

  • Crikey

I believe the real issue is that many people are attracted to clickbait nonsense.

My rss feed is always looking for quality canditates
