I'm very much out of the loop. Can someone give me a tl;dr of what this is? How it got started, its goals, etc. I heard nothing about this until today.

USA is a country without kings, we don't want any.

We're protesting trump, but also his stupid military parade. We're trying to reclaim what it means to be an American.

This is a planned mass protest in the United States against the trump administration and his policies specifically concerning his stance on immigration.

Honestly this is somewhat of a milestone for my country. I've never seen anything like this.
