Im feeling kinda like her pic too cause I really want her to live forever. She is spry as hell and has never lost kitten levels of madcap energy but when a cat hits that second digit...I hope to get another 10 but ya know. I gotta do job tomorrow but Monday is DARBY DAY. Im off and am gonna clear the living room and make a fun cat playground with boxes I've been saving, many treats and a buncha snuggles. Its hard to think of anything to do for someone who's already getting everything she likes all the time.
You have no idea. Im 33 so I she got me through my 20s. She was my first kitty living away from my parents or partner's family depending on the time. We have been through a LOT and we'll... personality wise we are a geat match. I was in a relationship when she was adopted and the choice to get a kitty was totally my partner's at the time and we'd only been dating for like a month and it was supposed to be her cat. By the time we split Darby was very clearly my cat and I was really glad she (my ex) said as much and that I should take darbs. Thank God that didn't become a custody battle and she noticed. We're still pals and stuff but at the time it was a fight I was dreading and was super relieved we were on the same page. I don't think I've ever been as on the same page with any person or animal. Were a couple of jokers and both of us are wild.

we were watching Decline of Western Civilization and it got to this part, and our cat who had been nameless for like a month cause we couldn't find anything perfect divebombed into a pot of chilli we had cooling down to freeze and covered the hiuse with it and then sliced me to ribbons when I had to give her a bath. When adopting her there was most of a litter and we specifically asked which one has been the biggest pain in the ass. Both parents and all the children immediately pointed to Darby. She is so fucking cool
