I’m so out of touch with current smartphone prices, I thought that was a lot 😂🤣

A 300 premium over their regular 2 fold phone actually isn't all that bad all things considered, for one it'll fix one of the top gripes people have with the inner screen of foldy phones; the aspect ratio

Interesting. I must be out of touch, I thought $2k for a phone was like extravagant lol. The folding phone costs $1700?? That’s insane.

Well anywhere from 1200-1800, iirc the OnePlus Open is the current "budget" champion of foldy brands you can buy in the US at ~1300 which is 300 cheaper than a maxed out iPhone 16 pro max (1600)

But for Samsuck, looks like the Fold 6 is 1600, so I was 100 off lol

But still, if you can afford it, its not a bad price for a phone that can go from a 6in phone to a full 10inch tablet with a proper aspect ratio

It's also important to remember when Huawei did it last year they could only manage it for something like 5000$ so Samsuck being able to go-to market at a far more (relatively) reasonable 2k is quite impressive IMO
