Actually, I have about 30k tracks in local storage, I only stream for sharing 😎💅 Still not a CD, true, but .flaks through foobar work just as well:))

I got the CD from a flea market for like 5€

That's actually a pretty sweet deal, ngl! And, yeah, same sentiment behind my digital stockpile, with the main difference being that I went from cassettes straight to .mp3 players, I wanted to ditch the extra physical space taken up by cassettes/CDs:))

Most of the music I have was even cheaper than €5, if you get my meaning :" :)))

Yeah, but I want to have the CD too, with the booklet and everything. The only things I pirate are songs that are not released on cd

That's probably the smartest way to go about it, yeah... about 2% of my anxiety is now focused on my local storage failing and not having a robust enough back-up system in place...

Unfortunately, digital-only was adopted pretty fast by our country (we had good internet from the start, so people found it easier to just ditch physical transfer mediums entirely), so it's either digital or vinyl now, mostly. And I'm not vinyl-rich, so... =)))
