I know some people dont like furries but this never really made sense.

To me it just feels like people are taking the furry community way too seriously.

People act like dating outside of the fandom is like dating interracially back during segergation. Furries where never slaves or discriminated against .

You guys are just people who like animals and wear costumes (if you can afford it).

I know some people online and real life have been mean but its really not that bad.

Also with alot of people complaining dating is terriable now you dont really have much a choice to be too pickly lol.

Also also I feel some people are a bit too picky. I know alot of people want to choose a partner thats like them (or that their attracted to) but everyone isnt going to be exactly like you.

Thats ok relationships aren't about liking the same things. It may help start some but not all.

I feel most people outside of the community IN REAL LIFE dont really care as long as your a nice person and dont make furry their whole life.

Every relationship I've been in, my partner has found out/been told I'm a furry after we started dating, they were not a furry themself, and none of them have had any issues with it. I know that's just my own personal anecdote and experience, and maybe I lucked out in that regard. My personality is more than just being a furry, and it's just one aspect of who I am that a partner would have to be accepting of, even if they don't fully understand it themself (or even better if they do).
