In exchange for the resettling of Palestinians, the administration would potentially release to Libya billions of dollars of funds that the U.S. froze more than a decade ago, those three people said.

She was far more likely to treat Netanyahu as the dishonest broker that he is.

I don't believe that.

HER handicap was not being able to publicly diverge from Biden policy, she should have, but couldn’t afford to alienate the Biden machine.

We would totally do the right thing, but for this stuff going on behind the scenes.

"No no trust us, I'm against Israel's genocide, I'm just not gonna use any influence to stop it, I'm not going to make it part of my campaign, I'm going to tell people protesting the genocide to shut up and that I'm speaking. I am clearly anti-genocide, just let me keep with Biden's pro-genocide polices."

Whether you "believe" it or not is irrelevant. It was her position as stated publicly multiple times. That problem is yours, not hers.

In the end though, the desire to "save" Gaza will result in the extermination of Gaza because you simply wouldn't listen. Good jorb!

If the dems had not known they could count on their base for being cowards, they might have considered the electoral implication of bombing civilians.

For what it worth i don't even think you're an asshole. You have been propagandized. Deprogram yourself man idk

https://www.timesofisrael.com/harris-says-she-wont-change-us-policy-on-arming-israel-stresses-need-for-hostage-deal/

Pushed again on whether she would change the current policy regarding weapons shipments, Harris responded, “No” before quickly continuing her point about the need for a hostage deal.

Liar liar pants on fire

biden said the exact same shit while shoveling weapons at netanyahu. there was no daylight between biden and harris on this issue.

In the end though, the desire to “save” Gaza will result in the extermination of Gaza because you simply wouldn’t listen.

democrats wouldn't listen to the people who didn't want genocide. we were too insignificant to listen to.

So we're too insignificant to blame. But blaming anyone else might require the party to abandon the only policy it has actually stood for in the past 40 years.

And again, Harris is not Biden. Two different people.

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

And again, she offered no change on Gaza from biden. one policy.

4 consecutive months. Cease fire, hostage release, two state solution. Everything the anti-Genocide people wanted.

"Buh buh wE dOnT bElIeVe YoU!!!11!11"

And so we get Mr. "Do it faster, it's making you look bad."

[–] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

Cease fire, hostage release, two state solution.

Everything biden said while selling weapons for genocide.

The ONLY thing harris had to say was that she would put conditions, ANY conditions on selling weapons to netanyahu.

There was and remains no difference whatsoever between biden and harris on Gaza. Everything the pro-genocide centrists wanted. And there has never been and never will be another kind of centrist.
