I think the most convenient option would be a little cigarette sized hole with a little door switch that activates the element when you put a cigarette in and maybe even holds it open for a second so the ember doesn't get snuffed out, if you had a cigar model it could maybe even be used for starting real fires

Couldn’t they just have a place to store smokes that come out lit? No need to carry a pack when it’s attached to your hand and ready to go at a moment’s notice.

Car lighters were designed that way to also light cigars, a tiny hole would make it single purpose
