My mother is anti gay and we're zero contact so mothers day irks me. Really happy that good mothers get a day honouring them though, and I know loads of people make it a lovely family day.

Sorry to hear that. My brother's boyfriends always where glad to come home with him because My mum always said "rather see him bring home a guy that treats him right than a girl that doesn't appreciate him". Already seen 26 mothersday's without her..... What I'd give just to have a cup of coffee with her........

That was so lovely that it didn't just effect your brother, it effected his partners as well! I get what you say about giving anything just to have coffee... it's often the little things we miss the most. It's the every day stuff that's so easy to take for granted
