Its not the design. Its the ads, bots, and lack of privacy. I quit it more than a year ago
My sister puts her kids pics on there. I just downloaded the app so I can use the chat function to see the pics.
I denied the app access to my camera and it refuses to let me use it. I tried giving it permission and then taking it away, but it just gives a pop that won’t go away until you disable the camera.
It stopped doing that a few months back, but it still randomly asks every now and then. I wish Android could deny permanently
I’ve reaching a tipping point with all this data collection BS. I’m about to setup an old android and tape over the cameras to just use these apps to keep up with stuff.
Have you tried turning sensors off with developer settings? The camera stops working, I wonder if the app will notice its camera permissions are useless.
Well I’m on iOS currently, and disable the camera through privacy settings and it still does not allow me to use it.
