So THIS is how they're gonna do handmaids tale. It's gonna be an immigrant thing. Neat. Disgusting and repulsive and utterly repugnant in every conceivable way but I was wondering how they would justify it

Yeah I made it through a couple episodes and was like "This was literally done to black and Native American women across North America. The last residential schools closed in the 90s," before giving up. The series ignores the racism component that would happen in a theocratic USA. Mormonism, one of the home grown religions of the US, advocated blackness was the Mark of Cain.
