As the title suggests, I'm now including FOSS games and games from some reputable sources besides the Play Store in my list of free games.

You can find the list pinned in this community or simply here.

Today I've updated the list with most of your recommendations collected from the comments, updated the entry criteria, and added a green checkmark ✅️ for FOSS games.

I've also added the F-droid link to some games that are both on the Play Store and on F-droid. I'm sure there are others in the list that need updating, so feel free to tell me.

Please read the edit and updated criteria before recommending your favorite games. Thank you!

It's still time-consuming and hard work, because I'll have to check on ALL games in the list. I can't just do it with some, or it will be confusing. I will think about it.

In the meanwhile you can:

By cross-referencing Chat GPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and the OG Google search, I've added the 120 FPS indicator (as 120FPS) to the handful of titles that support it in my list of premium games. Took me a couple hours to go through the bullshit they were spitting out, but it beats checking 100+ games one by one lol

I'm not sure any of the titles in the list of FREE games support 120 FPS, but I'll double check.

Keep in mind that, as I found out during the process, if a games doesn't support 120 FPS now, doesn't mean it never will. The 120 FPS support to some games has been added long after release.
