The moral duty of the clergy is to assert goodness, not assert loyalty to a political leader or business leader or media leaders who wrecks the future of the lives of children. Yet I hear nobody in USA holding clergy accountable for not speaking up about how bad is bad.

Reddit / Bluesky / social media users keep asking for politicians ("Democrats") to teach and do the morally right thing. Yet I do not hear people criticize the clergy class and cite morality of why the clergy has the responsibility to assert "stand up for the little guy" in society. The government officials do not write laws about "love one another", but the Clergy does. and how can such a clergy support MAGA / April 2025 White House?

Social media users are complicit for not asserting that people in need, people without voices, people being suffocated by DOGE, people unable to cope with the constant chaos and mass dehumanization threats and actions - need compassion and love and that it is indeed the role of clergy in society to be the ones asserting that / educating morality on good from bad.

USA clergy is mostly Christian. Why are social media users unable to use Google Search or post on Lemmy what message do we criticize our clergy with? What Bible verses are goodness being avoided... such as

1. Trump $59.99 Bible - why isn't "Matthew 6:5" front page of every social media every 12 hours until people all get the lesson?

2. Donald Trump / Elon Musk / Billionaires January 2025 on front row. "1 John 3:17"

3. Hate of any person is bad. People are liars. "1 John 4:20"

etc, etc.

The people with popularity to get these criticisms to the front of all social media sites are having too much fun mocking humanism and LOL at antics of Elon Musk and Donald Trump - just like the news reporters, etc. They are complicity and actively enjoying the suffering and chaos because it's so funny to watch Elon Musk and Donald Trump do horrible things day after day.
