A few months ago I was wondering what to get my girlfriend for her birthday. Her favourite animal is the guinea fowl, so when I saw a pattern for one, I decided I will learn to crochet and make her a guinea fowl plushie.

Well, after a lot of youtube tutorials, a few small and one medium-sized project, last week I decided it's time and started working on the bird.

Took me a few days of on and off crocheting, but I just finished and OMG, I love it!

It's certainly not perfect, the seams around the neck are absolutely tragic, but overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Oh yes, I see now!

Moss stitch is a great one to learn if you ever want to do things like blankets or scarves. Visually it's about as dense as single crochet, but has a lot more drape. It's a favourite of mine! https://easycrochet.com/moss-stitch-crochet-tutorial/
