I will hand this to them, they have made the rest of the democratic free nations understand that the US is not to be relied upon. Where most of those nations spent alot in defence given to the US now we won’t. Where we had partnerships in research and technology, now we won’t. Where we had trust in being allies, now we won’t. And there will be pain for us as well as we transition away but the pain felt by the US economically will be worse as a result.
